Offshore Electromechanical Technician (Field Joint Coating)

We are urgently seeking an experienced Electromechanical Technician to support Field Joint Coating (FJC) operations in offshore environments in Houma, LA. This is a full-time temporary assignment (1+ month) working 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week, in a fast-paced offshore setting. The role is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of electromechanical equipment used in coating and production operations, ensuring reliability, safety, and compliance with offshore HSE and project specifications. Responsibilities Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Troubleshoot and repair motors, rotating equipment, control panels, PLC systems, and automated equipment Support operation of FJC equipment including induction heating, abrasive blasting, and coating application systems Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical drawings Assist with commissioning, testing, calibration, alignment, and overhaul activities while ensuring HSE compliance Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics 3-7+ years of electromechanical maintenance experience, preferably in offshore or oil & gas environments Strong experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting Ability to work in offshore environments with physically demanding conditions (up to 75 lbs) and rotating schedules Familiarity with PLC systems, control panels, and technical documentation preferred Must pass a drug screen and background check Valid TWIC Card and valid Medical Certification (CG-719K) required
