Electrician Specialist Leader

The Mission of ELMHS is to provide mental health evaluation, treatment, habilitation, and consultation for adults. Programs include inpatient interventions, jail-based evaluations, supervised group home and residential programs, forensic evaluation, care, custody, and aftercare; intermediate and long-term psychiatric care are in coordination with the total system of care in Louisiana ELMHS is looking for a skilled and motivated individual to join the team in the Maintenance Department as an Electrician Specialist Leader. One year of the required experience for the following minimum qualifications must have been on-the-job experience: Three years of experience or training in the electrical trade. Job Duties:

In this role, you will: Install or repair service lines and main disconnects for buildings over 600 volts at the district headquarters compound. Evaluate the electrical capability of individual systems throughout the facility. Maintain and repair generators for emergency service from the generator to its designated point. Maintain electronic locks to include circuit boards, relays, and indicators. Make preventive maintenance rounds on all buildings, checking for loose wires,
