Job Description

Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. Your expertise will help power a variety of construction and renovation projects, from new installations to upgrades in existing facilities. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial settings, including lighting, wiring, outlets, and circuit breakers Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical plans Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and low voltage testers to complete tasks efficiently Work with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and industrial electrical components to support automation systems Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and safety regulations Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects, framing carpentry, and site setup to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems Conduct routine inspections on high voltage and low voltage systems to identify issues before they escalate Maintain detailed records of work performed, including schematic updates and inspection reports Qualifications Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and construction site work Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical installations Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment Knowledge of NEC standards, high voltage and low voltage systems, and safety protocols on construction sites Ability to perform renovation work involving framing carpentry or handyman skills as needed Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently Join us if you're ready to energize your career by working on impactful projects that demand precision, innovation, and dedication. $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
