Job Description

Craftsmen Contractors is seeking experienced Commercial Journeyman Electricians for a 2 -year project in the New Orleans area. This is for a new commercial construction project, working day shifts from Monday through Friday.

Electrician pay rate:

$22 - $24/hour depending on experience No per diem is offered. Weekly pay by direct deposit.

Responsibilities:

Install and repair electrical equipment and fixtures for new construction Read blueprints Troubleshoot motor and control systems Bend conduit and pull/run wire Install conduit, raceway, and cable tray systems Perform routine maintenance on electrical wiring and systems Adhere to all quality and safety codes

Qualifications:

Previous commercial electrical experience - 3 years required Familiarity with electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals Electricians must be able to read drawings and blueprints Ability to bend conduit. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Will need to have basic hand tools for electrical work and the required PPE.
