POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking Electrical Control Panel Technicians with at least two years of experience building and wiring electrical control panels. Technicians will assemble, wire, and install electrical control systems while working from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build and wire electrical control panels, junction boxes, operator stations, and related subassemblies.
  • Perform point-to-point wiring according to electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Install and wire electrical components, including PLC hardware, relays, switches, indicator lights, and terminal blocks.
  • Read and follow electrical schematics, blueprints, bills of materials, and work instructions.
  • Drill, tap, and modify cabinets and enclosures for component installation and wiring layouts.
  • Use wire strippers, crimpers, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, drills, and other hand and power tools.
  • Install completed electrical assemblies into cabinets, enclosures, and control desks.
  • Perform related mechanical assembly and basic fabrication, including drilling, tapping, cutting, deburring, and grinding.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and engineering specifications.
  • Document wiring or design changes and communicate necessary updates.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least two years of experience building and wiring electrical control panels.
  • Hands-on point-to-point wiring experience.
  • Ability to read and follow electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Experience installing and wiring electrical components in control panels, cabinets, or operator stations.
  • Experience using electrical assembly tools and performing basic panel fabrication.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a manufacturing team.
