Ham Electric is a growing, family-owned electrical contracting company serving the North Shore and surrounding communities. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Lead Electrician/Foreman to join our team. The ideal candidate is a dependable, self-motivated team player with strong electrical knowledge and hands-on experience in commercial and residential electrical work. This is a great opportunity for an electrician who takes pride in their work, values quality and professionalism, and wants to grow with a local company. You will work on a variety of projects while collaborating with our team, contractors, and customers to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Job Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, fixtures, and systems in residential and commercial settings. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, schematics, and specifications. Perform electrical installations in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and project requirements. Troubleshoot electrical systems and identify issues efficiently and effectively. Collaborate with general contractors, subcontractors, customers, and other members of the team on job sites. Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and in a professional manner. Conduct inspections and testing of electrical systems to identify potential issues or safety concerns. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Communicate effectively with customers and team members regarding project needs and progress. Assist with project planning, material needs, and estimating when needed. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Qualifications & Experience Valid Journeyperson Electrician license. Proven experience working in residential and/or commercial electrical construction. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and applicable electrical codes. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Professional communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Why Join Ham Electric?
