Duration:

September 8•December 9, 2026 (flexible evening schedule). Approximately 162 hours with a combination of theory, hands on and hybrid instruction.

Description:

Candidate will instruct students in Electrical Journeyman 4 BVTi program. Knowledge of the competencies and skills required for students to prepare for and pass the Journeyman exam.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1.Responsible for all related theory instruction for the program. 2.Monitors student progress throughout the program and accommodates the needs of individual students as they may arise. 3.Responsible for the maintenance of individual records for each student. 4.Helps to maintain a safe, clean and secure instructional environment for adult learners. 5.Analyzes data and student feedback to develop appropriate recommendations for future classes. 6.Knowledge of National Electric Code topics such as current National Electric Code (NEC); understanding the National Electrical Code

Qualifications:

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1.Possess a Massachusetts Master or Journeyman Electrical license. 2.5 years of electrical experience 3.Share your knowledge and experience with the next generation of electricians 4.Demonstrate characteristics which clearly indicate an ability to relate positively to students and colleagues. 5.Possess an OSHA 10-hour certification for the Construction Industry.

Duration:

September 8•December 9, 2026 (flexible evening schedule). Approximately 162 hours of theory with makeup classes. .

Compensation:

1.Based on credentials, approvals and experience, the successful candidate will be paid within an hourly range of $60.00•$70.00/hour, NTE 162 hours for services rendered, payment contingent upon completion of course content. 2.Payment contingent upon completion of all responsibilities, as required to meet program outcomes and approved by the Director of BVTi. 3.Payroll Time Sheet invoices must be completed and submitted to the program Director for payment. 4.This is a non-benefit temporary position
