Job Description
Position Purpose:
Under minimal supervision provides advanced experience with respect to electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic equipment and systems for troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades and preventative maintenance to all buildings.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing a range of electrical duties to install, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and wiring, proactively conducts preventive and predictive maintenance inspections and performs required duties in accordance with recommended schedules, also carries out scheduled or special preventive maintenance operations on plant equipment.
- Install, maintain and/or repair electric motors, generators, switchboards, lighting and power circuits and controls, starters and similar equipment and services.
- Disassemble and repair controls, run power and lighting circuits, carry out periodic or special electrical inspection and preventive maintenance operations on motors and other units and perform other electrician functions as directed or required.
- Perform emergency plumbing and other mechanical maintenance functions as necessary.
- Performs repairs and corrective maintenance to equipment with a high degree of quality and reliability so that the equipment is capable of operating within the required specifications.
- Daily input of required data into CMMS system for repair ticket processing and machine reliability and control.
- Interfaces daily with key Management and Production personnel regarding all building and aircraft related production equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience working with air compressor equipment a plus.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required, Certified/Licensed Electrician, 5 years' prior experience as a Maintenance/industrial Electrician, 2-year technical degree may offset one year of experience. Possess valid OSHA approved lift operator certification.- Must be able to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and blueprints.
- Must be able to pass comprehensive background and drug screening.
- Must have excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines as needed.
- Must have demonstrated working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and the integration of devices used.
- A working knowledge of air compressors, refrigerant air dryers, filters, and other equipment related to the compressed air industry.
- A working knowledge of PC based Microsoft office.
