Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Climb utility poles safely and efficiently Excavate trenches and holes for cable and pull box installation Work safely around energized equipment and hazardous conditions Perform lighting maintenance, including bulb replacement and troubleshooting Establish work zones with proper traffic control measures Assist with ground-level material assembly and preparation Perform work at heights with efficiency and precision Operate a variety of hand and power tools as required Utilize meters and testing equipment on systems up to 600 volts
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to work at various heights Safe and efficient operation of a bucket truck Strong work ethics, displaying initiative, adaptability, and integrity Work 40+ hours per week to include during inclement weather, holidays, and/or weekends as needed Willing to work overtime, travel long distances on short notice for storm and/or emergency events as needed Must be able to lift 100 lbs. on a regular basis Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, and kneel on a regular basis Must have a current, valid driver's license with the ability to obtain a Class A CDL within 6 months Must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen Previous Street Light repair and maintenance experience preferred What you'll get at
