WHAT YOU WILL DO
Respond to commercial service calls and troubleshoot electrical issues. Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial electrical systems and equipment. Install, replace, and upgrade panels, breakers, transformers, switchgear, lighting, motor controls, and power distribution equipment. Perform preventive maintenance, testing, and electrical inspections. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams. Build strong customer relationships by providing professional, high-quality service. Complete service documentation accurately and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Follow all National Electrical Code (NEC), OSHA, and company safety standards.
WHAT YOU BRING
Active Maryland Journeyman Electrician License or the ability to obtain one through reciprocity. Commercial electrical service and troubleshooting experience. Proven ability to independently diagnose and repair commercial electrical systems. Experience working directly with customers in occupied commercial facilities. Strong knowledge of three-phase electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, panelboards, lighting, lighting controls, motor controls, and power distribution systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and one-line diagrams. Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. At Bopat Electric, you'll do more than run service calls.
