- Full-time Milestone Building Services is searching for a reliable, experienced Electrician who has the skills to lead teams of electricians and apprentices on various construction sites and projects.
The primary objective of the Electrician is to oversee, guide, Lead and ensure the quality and safety of electrical installations. Our ideal candidate has a sharp, professional attitude, an unwavering commitment to safety, a record of successful team leadership, and superior electrical expertise. Your expertise will ensure that our electrical systems are reliable, efficient, and up to code. Responsibilities and Duties Lead and supervise teams of electricians and apprentices, providing guidance and motivation Conduct installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems Ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and electrical principles Conduct electrical design, installation, and troubleshooting for industrial, commercial, and residential properties Prepare reports, maintain stock of needed materials, and manage the project budget Qualifications Current Electrician Certification A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Electrician Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and safety measures Driving license and ability to travel as needed Proven experience managing electrical projects from inception to completion Skills and Competencies The applicant must have these skills and competencies: Superior knowledge of electric systems, Fire alarm systems, Tel/Data, tools, equipment, and safety measures Strong leadership and project management abilities Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients Meticulous attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office and PDF software. Knowledge and ability to assist and develop estimates and change orders. Produce safety documents as required
