  • 3-7 years Electrician Experience
  • Ability to obtain badging on federal/military sites
  • Journeyman Electrician (Master Preferred)

  • Experience bending conduit
  • Ability to organize into Local 26This position is an IBEW Union position; REON has partnered with IBEW to fast-track electricians into the local chapter (Local 26).

REON is recruiting a skilled and experienced Journeyman or Master Electrician to work on awarded federal contracts in the Washington DC metro area. REON works in high-profile areas, including NIH, Carderock, and NIST, and we require our workers to be aware of the highly visible nature of our operations.

You will be expected to work independently and under supervision. You will have responsibility for completion of job tasks from demolition to terminations. You must be able to think ahead to manage your assignments and pay attention to personal safety. While interacting with the crew, clear and professional communication with dependable follow-up is critical to a successful project. Technical, logistical, contractual, and resource support will be provided from Foreman first, then management. REON thrives using a collaborative approach; a teaming mindset is Priority One.

These qualities identify you as an optimal candidate:
  • Electrician License with 7+ years of experience as Journeyman or Master Electrician.
  • EVITP certification and experience on EVSE projects.
  • NICET Fire Alarm Certification
  • 5 years of experience in a Federal or Industrial setting
  • Basic Proficiency in computers
Description of Duties:
  • Install/bend conduit, pull wire, create terminations
  • Install electrical panels, transformers, switchgears, electrical machinery
  • Controls for lighting, equipment and building systems
  • Install Fire Alarms and Fire Protection
  • Testing circuits and safety protocols such as Lock Out
  • Troubleshooting, preventative maintenance
  • Understanding of blueprints and schematics
Reporting:
daily reports, maintenance, repairs, and receiving
