Journeyman Electrician Job Description The Journeyman Electrician will support major utility relocation projects within an active hospital environment. This role requires advanced skill in installing, modifying, and rerouting electrical infrastructure while maintaining strict compliance with healthcare facility standards. The ideal candidate has extensive experience working with large-diameter conduit systems, including 5" rigid steel conduit and 5" external PVC, and is comfortable operating in sensitive, occupied spaces where safety, precision, and communication are paramount. Responsibilities Install, modify, and reroute electrical infrastructure within a hospital setting. Work with large-diameter conduit systems, specifically 5" rigid steel conduit and 5" external PVC. Ensure compliance with healthcare facility standards. Operate in sensitive, occupied spaces with a focus on safety and precision. Communicate effectively with team members and hospital staff. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical installation and conduit work. Experience with large-diameter conduit systems. Ability to troubleshoot and interpret blueprints and schematics. Expertise in wiring and conduit bending. Two years of experience preferred. Additional Skills & Qualifications Journeyman License in Delaware or Maryland, depending on job site. Completion of 4 Years Electrical Apprenticeship. Valid driver's license and transportation. Willingness to travel to Tri-State projects. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Salisbury, MD. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
