Regular Schedule:

• the facility is a critical infrastructure for Baltimore County Diagnoses electrical problems and determines appropriate methods of repair Estimates cost of labor and materials Determines the lay out of projects Completes projects according to blueprints, plans, or schematics Installs, tests, and replaces components of electrical circuitry and internal power distribution systems including conduit, wiring, connections, receptacles, breakers, panels, and switches Tests, repairs, and replaces or installs electrical generators, transformers, and uninterrupted power systems Installs, maintains, and repairs motors, controls, and other electrical components of equipment and appliances including heating, air conditioning, pumping, and solid-state control systems Installs, tests, and repairs door bells, buzzers, fire alarm and security systems, thermostats, lighting fixtures, and communications systems Lead and instruct lesser skilled workers Prepares and keeps records of time and materials used Uses tools and equipment of the electrical trade Follows and ensures compliance with safety procedures and electrical codes Examples of Other Duties Drives an automobile, light truck, or commercial-weight vehicle to transport workers, tools, or materials between job sites May inspect and approve the electrical work of outside contractors performed on County facilities Must be energetic and willing to work in a high paced environment Performs other related duties as required (

Qualifications Training and Experience:

Possession of a Baltimore County Master General or Master Limited Electrician License or possession of a valid State-wide Master Electrician License or a Maryland Journeyperson Electrician License. (Registration as a Master Electrician in another jurisdiction within the State of Maryland, plus sufficient experience to qualify for Baltimore County reciprocity, may be substituted for the required Baltimore County or State-wide License.) Licenses and Certificates:
