Job Description

Opportunities are flying high at the City of Bangor - Bangor International Airport! The City has an opening for an Airfield Maintenance Electrician at the Bangor International Airport. This position is responsible for the diagnosis and repair of a variety of electrical systems, works independently making decisions and taking necessary actions to effect necessary repairs of Airport electrical distribution systems. Several insurance options, including low-deductible medical insurance, with up to 80% of health insurance paid for by the City Retirement plan with generous employer contribution Paid time off Paid holidays Contributing in a significant way to your local community This position's full salary range for a Journeyman is: is $23.65 - $30.28 per hour and for a Master Electrician is $28.19 - $36.12 per hour with an additional .50/hour for candidates with a CDL. The ideal candidate will hold a Master Electrician license. However, applications from licensed Journeyman Electricians who demonstrate the ability and commitment to develop into a Master Electrician will also be considered. A successful candidate for this position will need to pass an airport background check and be able to obtain the appropriate access to fulfill their job duties.
