  • Full-time We are seeking a knowledgeable master plumber and master electrician to join our team.
As a master plumber and electrician, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of plumbing and electrical installation projects. Your excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently will ensure the successful completion of projects and the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
1. Install, repair, and maintain plumbing and electrical systems (e.g., pipes, fixtures, appliances) according to local codes and regulations. 2. Inspect plumbing and electrical systems; identify potential issues; providing appropriate solutions. 3. Supervise and train other apprentices, ensuring their adherence to safety protocols and work standards. 4. Collaborate with team members, estimators and engineers to plan and execute plumbing and electrical projects. 5. Follow blueprints, building codes, and specifications to ensure accurate and efficient plumbing and electrical installations. 6. Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety standards during all plumbing and electrical work. 7. Troubleshoot complex plumbing and electrical issues and quickly diagnose problems to develop effective solutions. 8. Use a variety of tools and equipment, such as pipe cutters, wrenches, soldering torches, and pipe fittings, to complete plumbing and electrical tasks. 9. Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and plumbing and electrical advancements to provide customers with the most effective and efficient solutions.
Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Master Plumber and Master Electrician, working on a variety of commercial plumbing and electrical projects. 2. Valid plumbing and electrical license or certification issued by the state of ME (NH and MA is a plus). 3. In-depth knowledge of plumbing and electrical and piping systems, codes, and regulations. 4. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities. 5. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accurate installations and repairs. 6. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. 7. Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively. 8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, team members, and other stakeholders. 9. Physical stamina and ability to work in various locations, including confined spaces and heights. 10. Safety-conscious mindset, following all relevant safety protocols and guidelines. 11. Proficient in using plumbing and electrical tools and equipment. 12. Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or emergency call-outs as needed. 13. Valid driver's license with a clean record 14.
