Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to work on either commercial, multifamily, or light industrial projects. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with applicable codes. Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to determine the layout of electrical systems. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to ensure proper functionality. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including maintenance person services and carpenters, to complete projects efficiently. Work with logic controllers for automated systems and ensure their proper operation. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
