If you are looking for a fast paced, team focused job, this may be the role for you! Our facilities involve residential, commercial, industrial and control wiring. We are looking for an individual with the drive to grow with us. This is a great opportunity to learn all aspects of the trade in an instructional environment. The right candidate will be willing to learn and be reliable. The position also involves daily preventative maintenance responsibilities.

MAINTENANCE MANAGER
Summary:
The In-house Journeyman position exists as a result of internal promotion only. This role will operate with minimal supervision to perform duties as assigned by the Electrical Mechanical Project Manager. These duties will include the installation, modification, design, maintenance, and repair of all mechanical systems. In this role, the employee is able to interpret blue prints, lead and develop direct reports, and provide representation of mechanical systems on new projects to ensure synergy with structural construction team.
Primary Responsibilities:
Work in accordance to company safety standards and policies Lead and develop electrical team in regards to preventative and break down systems maintenance. Quality assurance of installations. Daily production contribution Respectful and thoughtful communication with apprentices and management. Candidates should be direct, thorough, and invested. Proactive learning and advancement of skills Participate in new installations, repairs/alterations to existing installations, and preventative maintenance Be a part of on-call team for after-hours emergencies Ensuring critical systems are operational and in a ready state Perform manually taxing tasks including digging ditches. Lifting heavy equipment, and maintaining strenuous positions Install mechanical and electrical systems in a professional and workmanlike manner Good time management skills Cognitive thinking

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
Journeyman Electrical License Successful completion of OSHA 10 Certification High school diploma or equivalent. Participation in a continued education program with a goal of maintaining journeyman's license. Safety training in electrical stored energy. Proficient in conduit installations. Knowledgeable of the NEC code. Competent in transformer and electrical panel installation and wiring. Cognizant of grounding and bonding requirements for electrical systems. Experienced in control wiring and relay logic. Leadership and organization experience. Self-motivated person with drive to improve existing systems and workforce. Team oriented person. Frequently lift up to 50 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
