Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Master Electrician to lead our electrical maintenance and installation efforts across our manufacturing and facility operations. This pivotal role involves managing complex electrical systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and guiding a team of electricians to uphold the highest quality standards. Duties Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial and commercial electrical systems, ensuring adherence to electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards. Interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and section drawings for accurate installation and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Working Lead, manage teams of electricians, coordinating daily tasks and prioritizing work schedule, providing mentorship, and ensuring safety procedures are followed rigorously. Available for emergency on call rotation. Knowledge of 12,470-volt distribution. Pad mount transformers and switch gear. Oriented with power meters- power quality analysis - utility locator and insulation testing. Pull permits and interact with local inspectors. Quote small to medium projects across campus. Ensure all work complies with building codes, low voltage requirements, and safety procedures related to high voltage and renovation projects. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and compliance documentation. Track and assign appropriate cost codes. Conduct business within the work order system. Responsible for coordination and distribution of Hot Glove testing for the Company Qualifications Valid Master Electrician License Valid Contractors License Valid Driver's License Proven experience as an electrician in industrial and commercial settings with strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems. Extensive experience managing teams of electricians on construction sites or facility maintenance projects. Deep understanding of electrical schematics reading, blueprint interpretation for electrical drafting, and building code compliance. Proficiency with electrical diagnostics tools such as ohmmeters; familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a plus. Hands-on experience with electrical systems installation, renovation projects, high voltage work, and construction site environments. Ability to interpret complex schematics and blueprints accurately while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
