Solar & Residential Electrical Portable Power is growing and looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team.

We specialize in solar, battery storage, EV charging, and residential electrical work throughout Michigan. We are looking for someone who takes pride in clean work, understands residential electrical systems, and wants to grow with a fast-moving company. What You'll Do Complete residential electrical installations Install and wire solar PV systems Install battery backup systems and inverters Install EV chargers Perform service upgrades, panel changes, and electrical modifications Troubleshoot electrical and solar systems Work with inspectors and ensure installations meet NEC and local code requirements Maintain clean, professional jobsites Work closely with our installation and operations teams What We're Looking For Michigan Journeyman Electrician License Residential electrical experience Strong understanding of the NEC Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems Valid driver's license Reliable, professional, and able to work independently Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship Solar experience is highly preferred. Experience with any of the following is a major plus: Solar PV Enphase Tesla Powerwall FranklinWH Sol-Ark Battery storage EV chargers Generators Service upgrades Smart electrical panels Why Portable Power?
