An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Job Description

We have a permanent opening for a panel builder. You will wire new machines and equipment with the latest electrical controls and components. You will layout, build, wire, install and troubleshoot electrical control panels, junction boxes, limit switches, sensors, motors (AC/DC), conduit and other electrical components. You will work with Controls Engineers and may be given the chance to learn PLC programming in the future. Send your resume to greatjobs@opportunitygroup.com
  • Must have at least two years of experience wiring machines.
  • Must be able to reading and interpret schematics and blue prints.
  • Must be familiar with electrical codes and standards.
