In this role, you will be responsible for responding to service calls, troubleshooting electrical issues, and performing repairs and installations for both residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate has strong diagnostic skills, takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, and possesses excellent customer service skills. We Provide Company vehicle, stocked with equipment Fuel card and credit card for materials purchases iPhone and iPad for job tracking, estimates and invoices Responsibilities Respond to residential and commercial service calls in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues in building wiring, panels, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures. Perform electrical upgrades and installations, including EV chargers, generator hookups, smart home devices, and new circuits. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair. Provide clear, accurate estimates for customers and explain necessary repairs or options in an easy-to-understand way. Ensure all electrical work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local building codes. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked company vehicle. Accurately document all service calls, time, materials used, and invoices. Qualifications Proven experience as an electrician performing residential and/or commercial service and repair work. Journeyman Electrician license (or equivalent local certification) is highly preferred. Strong troubleshooting skills and proficiency with standard diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeters, voltage testers) and hand tools. Comprehensive knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard safety protocols. Excellent customer service and communication skills; must be comfortable interacting with property owners and business managers. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Familiarity with ServiceTitan a plus but not required. Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle a physically demanding job that may require lifting, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
