As a Journeyman Electrician in our innovative Manufacturing department, you'll ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our electrical systems and machinery. This role demands precision, safety, and a deep understanding of both modern and legacy electrical systems to meet and elevate our production capabilities and sustain our movement towards being an even more productive and responsible organization. Responsibilities Assess, repair, and maintain electrical components and machinery within the manufacturing facility. Install, calibrate, and configure new electrical systems to optimize the manufacturing process. Conduct regular preventive maintenance on motors, controls, and other electrical apparatus to minimize downtime. Collaborate with plant management and engineering to troubleshoot issues and engineer solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Ensure compliance with all safety and electrical codes and regulations when performing tasks. Coordinate and advise on electrical projects, including automation upgrades and power supply enhancements. Required Skills Proficient in electrical system diagnostics and repairs. Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and blueprints. Skilled in the use of electrical repair tools and instruments. Knowledge of different electrical systems used in industrial/manufacturing environments. Comfortable working with both alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) systems and multimeter usage.
