In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure safe, efficient, and compliant electrical operations while supporting renovation projects, new installations, and ongoing maintenance. As a key member of our team, you will bring energy, precision, and a proactive approach to every task. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs). Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs. Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) standards and local electrical codes for safety and quality assurance. Perform low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks for various applications including commercial buildings, industrial facilities, and renovation projects. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems on construction sites or existing structures to identify issues and implement effective solutions. Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and other trades like frame carpentry or handyman services to coordinate seamless project execution. Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards. Skills Extensive experience working as an industrial or commercial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical systems in construction environments. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams for complex electrical layouts. Strong knowledge of NEC regulations, low voltage wiring, high voltage systems, and safety procedures. Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and troubleshooting automation controls. Skilled in using hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers; power tools including drills and saws; as well as testing instruments like ohmmeters. Ability to work confidently on renovation projects or new construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship.
