An Electrician works on electrical systems in buildings. Installs electrical wiring and lighting in new construction, and repairs or upgrade wiring, outlets or other parts of older electrical systems. Checks safety and makes installations or repairs that are in compliance with local building codes. May also specialize in electrical work required in different manufacturing industries, electrical systems for cars, plane or boats, or electrical and lighting work in the film industry.

Upkeep and service of the Electrical equipment used throughout the plant. Maintain and service of all production equipment, controls, MCC, power distribution, and lighting.Responsibilities:
Perform preventative maintenance work orders and repair work as requested. Troubleshooting electrical equipment and controls. Perform installation and repairs as needed within code requirements. Run or repair conduit and associated hardware and wiring.Other responsibilities: Adhere to safe work practices Assist maintenance and technicians with troubleshooting Document and record settings of equipment as needed Provide information to operators and mechanics to ensure correct operation and maintenance of equipment Attend training as required by the company Advise management on best practices/optimization
