Industrial Electrician Direct Placement $40hr/+ Job Description This role seeks an experienced industrial electrician with strong 3-phase 480V and industrial troubleshooting experience to assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical equipment in an automotive manufacturing environment. You will diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools, identify the cause of breakdowns, and implement effective repairs. You will connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and other components while consistently following all safety regulations and using required personal protective equipment. Responsibilities Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus, and fixtures in an industrial automotive manufacturing environment. Maintain electrical equipment in compliance with applicable regulatory codes at the country, state, and federal levels. Perform rigging activities, safety-related functions, and other miscellaneous electrical tasks as needed. Demonstrate safe and proficient use of shop tools, including both hand and power tools, for installation, maintenance, and repair work. Apply mechanical knowledge to support troubleshooting and repair of electrical and electromechanical systems. Program and adjust variable frequency drives (VFDs) to meet operational requirements. Safely operate a forklift and manlift to access equipment and perform electrical work at various heights. Troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and related control systems to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Work from ladders, scaffolds, roofs, and other elevated positions to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Test electrical systems and verify continuity of circuits using devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety of systems. Perform conduit installation, including bending conduit, pulling wire, and completing electrical installations to industrial standards. Work effectively in a hot, cold, dirty, and fast-paced production environment while maintaining high safety and quality standards. Take initiative as a self-starter while also following instructions and work orders as directed. Communicate clearly and professionally with machine operators and setup personnel to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues. Perform other duties as assigned in support of maintenance and production operations. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Three Rivers, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $83200.00 - $85280.00/yr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
