The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Typical commercial electrician duties include reading blueprints, installing conduit and wiring, troubleshooting electrical systems, and ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair commercial electrical systems and equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Install conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid), cable trays, wiring, lighting systems, panels, and devices. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently. Perform electrical testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance. Ensure all work complies with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company safety policies. Work collaboratively with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades. Complete daily reports and maintain accurate project documentation. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Qualifications 309A Construction and Maintenance Electrician License preferred. Registered apprentice electricians are encouraged to apply. Minimum 3-5 years of commercial electrical experience. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical installations and troubleshooting. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications. Experience with conduit bending, wire pulling, panel terminations, and lighting installations. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

$16.00 - $50.00 per hour
