Job Description
Position Summary:
The Senior Electrician is responsible for layout and wiring of electrical components used on tooling for an individual project.Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a specialist on the layout and routing of electrical components per assembly Ensure individual tasks are executed in the most effective manner in regard to time, cost and function Ensure assigned tooling is completed based on work requirements utilizing drawings, customer specifications and manuals as necessary Identify/Diagnose electrical problems, and recommend adjustments/repair work as necessary Mark up engineering drawings as needed to indicate change. Report/document said changes to the necessary departments (direct supervisor/engineering/etc.) Provide accurate time reporting for assigned activities through the ERP system Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety, quality of work, and attendance. Perform additional duties as assigned.Qualifications:
Electrician Journeyman Card or 8+ years electrical experience in a machine tool shop High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred Experience with programming or troubleshooting PLC code a plus, but not required Ability to interpret engineering drawings and successfully layout equipment according to prints Team player, able to take direction and be self-directed High regard for safety standards Knowledge of welding and automated welding systems Knowledge of Electrical Standards, tooling assembly & setup Strong written and oral communication skillsWork Environment :
This position operates in both an office and a shop/plant environment, may be required to work at multiple facilities depending on workload. Work type & Expected hours of work: Regularly works on-site at local Paslin location, either Hoover, 10-Mile or Cherry Creek. Must be flexible to work at any of these three locations as needed for an extended period of time. Typical work schedule for this role is 6am-230pm, Monday to Friday. During critical phases of the project, work hours may flex up to 12 hours per day. This position is for regular, full-time work and may require coming in early, working late, or working on weekends to meet the needs of the business.Physical Demands:
The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and twist, use vision and hands to operate equipment and tools. Occasionally required to lift/push/pull up to 40lbs. This is a safety sensitive role, which includes working around moving equipment and machinery.Direct Reports:

This position requires flexibility to report to multiple Paslin sites. During an installation project this role will require overnight travel to customer sites for periods of up to 12 days at a time over a period of multiple consecutive months.
