Job Description

The City of Warren is accepting applications for the position of WWTP Electrician. This position performs technical and skilled work at the Waste Water Treatment Plant in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical electronic, Electro-Mechanical, analog and digital systems and instrumentation utilizing up to 4800 volts.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited high school, G.
E.D. equivalent or equivalent trade school. o Diploma or official, sealed transcripts
REQUIRED
with application
  • Work experience as a journeyman electrician in an industrial and/or commercial setting.
  • Licensed as an Electrical Journeyman with the State of Michigan. o C opy of licensing required with application
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of software, printing, scanning and email.
  • Possess a valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Michigan.
  • Driving record must meet city standards for insurability.
Pay rate:
$76,130/year - $87,150/year (After 5 years)
  • Does not include the contractual increase of 7/1/26 Excellent benefit package includes health, dental and life insurance, paid vacation and sick time.
