About the Position We are looking for an experienced Journeyman Electrician who takes ownership of their work, communicates well, works safely, and wants to be part of a strong team. You will complete residential, commercial, service, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and new construction electrical work while also helping supervise and train apprentices assigned to you. This position is a good fit for an electrician who takes pride in quality workmanship, can work independently, and is willing to help develop the next generation of electricians. Responsibilities Complete electrical installations, service work, troubleshooting, repairs, maintenance, and construction work safely and professionally. Perform work according to applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, plans, specifications, and company standards. Supervise and provide direction to apprentice electricians assigned to work with you. Train and mentor apprentices in practical electrical skills, safe work practices, tools, job-site organization, customer service, and company procedures. Review apprentice work and address workmanship or safety concerns. Plan work efficiently and make sure necessary tools, materials, equipment, and information are available. Communicate job progress, material needs, delays, additional work, and customer concerns to the Operations Manager. Communicate professionally with customers throughout the job. Accurately complete timesheets, job notes, material records, photographs, and job-management updates. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Maintain company vehicles, van stock, tools, and equipment. Identify work outside the original scope and communicate it before proceeding when approval is required. Participate in company meetings, safety training, technical training, and continuous improvement. Take ownership of the quality, safety, productivity, and professionalism of your work. Productive/Chargeable Labor:

Maintain approximately 95% of paid field time assigned to productive or chargeable job activities, excluding approved meetings, training, and authorized non-chargeable activities.

Quality & Callbacks:

Maintain a callback or defect rate below 2% on work completed by you or under your direct supervision.

Job Documentation:

Complete required timesheets, notes, material records, photographs, and job-management updates by the end of each workday.
