Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair residential and light commercial electrical systems. Inspect electrical components, identify hazards, and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes and regulations. Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions for customers. Lead and mentor apprentice and journeyman electricians as needed. Provide accurate estimates and recommendations for repairs, upgrades, and new installations. Install and service panels, breakers, lighting, outlets, switches, EV chargers, generators, and other electrical equipment. Maintain detailed job documentation and service records. Communicate professionally with customers regarding findings, recommendations, and completed work. Participate in company and manufacturer training programs. Perform other duties as assigned.Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing. Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, and various weather conditions. Manual dexterity and physical stamina required for electrical installation and repair work. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and testing equipment.Qualifications:
Current Master Electrician license required. Minimum of 5 years of electrical experience preferred. Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical regulations. Experience with residential service, repair, troubleshooting, and installation. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
