Journeyman Electrician

We are currently seeking an experienced, reliable, and highly-skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. In this role, you will demonstrate your expert knowledge of electrical systems and your outstanding problem solving skills as you perform all necessary installations, maintenance, and repairs. To succeed in this position, you will be reliable, hardworking, and a team player with a desire to continually learn and improve your skillset. Journeyman Electrician Arrive at service calls on time Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner Conduct all work to the very best of your ability, as if it were your own home/business Notify client immediately if plan needs to be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested Follow specifications on blueprints/diagrams/technical drawings for installations Conduct all repairs and installations according to code Utilize all safety equipment and follow all safety regulations and guidelines Maintain a neat and organized work environment Maintain a stock of common materials in your service vehicle See that all tools and equipment are functioning properly at the beginning of shift Obtain payment and be sure customer is satisfied before departing Journeyman Electrician Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Must be licensed journeyman electrician Valid driver's license required Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening Solid working knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systems Minimum 3 years experience as a journeyman level electrician Extensive experience in both commercial and residential work is a plus Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications Able to work independently Take great pride in your work Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude Good customer service skills Good communication skills, able to keep accurate records
