Position Overview Primary responsibility is to install, maintain, modify, and troubleshoot electrical/mechanical equipment throughout the entire facility. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Reporting to the Controls Engineer Supervisor, the Electrician will: Construct, test, maintain, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, steam, and mechanical equipment/control systems. Construct, test, maintain, and repair electrical/electronic equipment, instruments, control systems, motor controls, lighting, and branch circuits. Consult manuals, schematics, drawings, and operating personnel to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems and to determine optimum equipment functioning. Welding for repair and fabrication. Prepare and maintain records detailing tests, repairs, requests, and preventive maintenance. Repair, replace, and clean equipment and components. Assist with training on proper installation and troubleshooting techniques for maintenance staff. Troubleshooting. Determine causes of operating errors and course of action to reach resolution. Understand/Interpret National Electrical Codes. Ability to size wiring and wireways for new installations or modification of existing installations. Understand/Interpret

Standard for Electrical Safety in the Workplace and PPE requirements. Understand/Interpret PLC ladder logic and field wiring (Allen Bradley, ABB). Understand programming and operation of variable frequency drives (Allen Bradley, Yaskawa, Telemechanique, Pumpsmart, and ABB). The Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Technical Degree/Electrical Certification 3 years' experience as an electrician in a manufacturing facility Preferred Experience Technical training preferred The Perks Benefit package discussed at interview.
