• Safe and stable work For more information about National Beef Leathers, Click Here! Responsibilities Maintenance Electrician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Troubleshooting & diagnose electrical systems ranging from millivolts (mV) control circuits to 480V power systems, including both main power and control power
• Collaborate with Maintenance & Production teams to identify failure points & to perform root cause analysis.
• Always ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards & electrical code.
• Use 2-way radios
• Wear task-specific PPE (personal protective equipment)
• Comply with all safe work practices and procedures
• Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times
• Other duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Additional Information Help for Additional Information. Opens a new window. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Electrician position should possess the following:
• Able to read electrical schematics
• Understand and demonstrate relay logic
• Previous electrical experience - preferably in an industrial setting
• Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift training
• Able to work outside in all weather
• Able to lift up to 75-100 pounds
• Able to read and write
• Able to use basic mathematics
• Able to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shift
• Able to pass mechanical aptitude test
• Able to use ladders
• Able to use lift trucks (i.e. - Snorkel Lift / bucket lift)
• Able to use various hand tools and power tools
• Able to work with a group or unsupervised Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
