Responsibilities Maintenance Electrician responsibilities include but are not limited to: Troubleshooting & diagnose electrical systems ranging from millivolts (mV) control circuits to 480V power systems, including both main power and control power Collaborate with Maintenance & Production teams to identify failure points & to perform root cause analysis. Always ensure compliance with all applicable safety standards & electrical code. Use 2-way radios Wear task-specific PPE (personal protective equipment) Comply with all safe work practices and procedures Keep work areas clean and tidy at all times Other duties as assigned This is a safety sensitive position. This is an on-site position. Qualifications Qualified candidates for the Maintenance Electrician position should possess the following: Able to read electrical schematics Understand and demonstrate relay logic Previous electrical experience - preferably in an industrial setting Able to drive a forklift or willing to undertake forklift training Able to work outside in all weather Able to lift up to 75-100 pounds Able to read and write Able to use basic mathematics Able to stand/walk on concrete/stairs for duration of shift Able to pass mechanical aptitude test Able to use ladders Able to use lift trucks (i.e. - Snorkel Lift / bucket lift) Able to use various hand tools and power tools Able to work with a group or unsupervised Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
