Industrial Electrician providing maintenance in an automotive manufacturing facility. Prefer a self-starter who is hardworking, highly motivated and able to work under little supervision. An excellent communicator who is able to follow directions efficiently and provide feedback in a timely manner. We are a highly customer focused organization; as a result, overtime is required to meet business needs.
Job Responsibilities include:
Ability to repair and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment according to specifications and instructions as well as ability to read diagrams, sketches, advanced blueprints and operation manuals. Create and install electrical circuits for tools and plant equipment as well as test circuits in order to check for defects. Inspect and clean equipment and troubleshoot, repair and replace faulty equipment. Able to bend and run conduit (up to 4"). Run wiring and hook-up disconnects. Install, repair and/or replace switches, push buttons, circuits, panels, breakers, suppressors and transformers.
Requirements:
Prefer a minimum of three years' experience in an industrial setting Have knowledge of three-phase motors Familiarity with National Electrical Code Excellent mechanical skills required Ability to operate scissor lifts, fork trucks, boom lifts, lulls, and other industrial equipment safely Able to work at heights in a safety harness
Additional Requirements:
Available to work any shift, to include week-ends. Speak, read and write fluent English Have a verifiable stable work history Successfully complete Chemical screen and thorough background checks to include Criminal History and work history Able to lift up to 25 lbs Able to stand for long periods of time Hard working with the ability to stay focused and pay attention to detail Safety conscious and able to work well with others
