Full Job Description About Knight Electric:

Knight Electric is a national electrical contractor focusing on Commercial/Retail new construction and re-modernization. We are currently seeking skilled Commercial Electricians in the Greater Clinton, MS area to join our team for an upcoming electrical construction project. This is a full-time position for a project expected to last approximately 4 months and can continue with travel after if after project completion. We can hire for just the 4-month project or Complete the 4+month project and travel with us full-time Work will begin on-site in Clinton, MS. With additional projects available in surrounding states for those open to travel after project completion . Travel and Airbnb are paid along with per diem and mileage (drive time included) when working on out-of-town projects.

Compensation:

$30.00 - $38.00 per hour pending experience and active state electrical license. Travel is fully paid if you choose to travel after this project completion. Duties /

Expectations:

Must have experience and ability to leads small to medium size projects (2-4 electricians) Expert knowledge of electrical theory Understands and applies NEC code knowledge Advanced understanding of NEC calculations Able to perform any type of bend with all bender types Installs raceways, boxes, and cables Assist with wire pulling activities Installs light fixtures, devices, and cover plates Assists with installation of switchboards Installs panels, breakers, and transformers Connects branch circuits including terminations and panels and equipment Performs basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems Basic knowledge of various control systems and components Reads and interprets blueprints and schematics Performs other related duties as required

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED Formal trade school or apprentice program completion preferred 8000+ Hours of electrician experience Must have experience and ability to lead small to medium size projects (2-4 electricians) Valid state issued Driver's License Current state Electrical Apprentice license preferred When required by State Licensing entity Current OSHA 10 certificate Ability to pass a criminal background check
