Job Description

This travel assignment at a Level 1 teaching facility offers more than just professional growth: you'll collaborate with a progressive radiology team and gain exposure to best practices in vascular ultrasound within a dynamic, multi-specialty environment. Experience hands-on learning within a respected radiology department, performing critical vascular studies on a wide variety of patients, including opportunities to rotate between adult, children's, and women's hospitals. This assignment is ideal for expanding your clinical portfolio—especially if you're seeking exposure to innovative techniques and knowledgeable leadership.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible shifts; assignments include hospital-based and portable scanning duties.
Desired Qualifications:
ARDMS certification required: RVT (Registered for Vascular Technology) or
RVS. BLS
(Basic Life Support) certification. RDCS (Cardiac Sonography) is beneficial for expanded coverage. Pediatric ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required. Demonstrated competence in vascular studies, including: Carotid and segmental Doppler exams (upper and lower extremities) Venous Doppler for upper and lower extremities Dialysis/bypass grafts Transcranial Doppler exams Vein mapping, mesenteric/renal Doppler studies
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a broad array of vascular imaging exams, including DVT rule-outs, TCDs for neuro programs, and hemodialysis scans. Rotate across adult, pediatric, and women/infants hospitals. Adapt to covering both fixed and portable scans as assigned. Deliver compassionate, accurate patient care in high-acuity settings. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, adapting to the learning and leadership styles unique to this teaching facility.
