Lead Service Electrician Qualifications Industry Experience:

3+ years of professional experience in the electrical and lighting field.

Technical Depth:

Deep knowledge of 120v/277v/480v electrical systems and a thorough understanding of the current National Electrical Code (NEC).

Equipment Mastery:

Highly experienced with specialized power tools, hand tools, machinery, and circuit tester meters.

Vertical Proficiency:

Ability to work comfortably at heights, including climbing ladders, utilizing scaffolding, and operating powered lifts.

Physical Capability:

Ability to handle and move items weighing 50 lbs or more on a regular basis.

Compliance:

Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and the ability to pass a standard background check. (Cutting Edge is an E-Verify Employer ).

Communication:

Strong verbal and written skills in English; ability to speak Spanish is a significant advantage.

Lead Service Electrician Responsibilities Technical Leadership:

Execute and oversee all aspects of electrical and lighting repairs, ensuring all wiring and installations meet or exceed code requirements.

Advanced Installation:

Install both illuminated and non-illuminated signage with precision, utilizing alignment tools (levels, squares, rules) for perfect placement.

Resource Optimization:

Operate machinery and power tools responsibly to ensure accurate cuts and minimal material waste.

Fleet & Tool Ownership:

Maintain all company equipment, tools, and work vehicles in top working order; keep job sites and workspaces clean and safe at all times.

Operational Flow:

Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from loading and transporting signage to final site cleanup post-installation.

Internal Coordination:

Report inventory levels and reorder needs to the Center/Production Manager to ensure project continuity.

Strategic Collaboration:

Establish and maintain effective team relationships with all support departments and adhere to all company policies and business ethics.

Schedule Flexibility:
