Job Description
CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring Electric Top Helpers in Ocean Springs, MS. This is an immediate opportunity for qualified professionals seeking steady work. Electricians will perform electrical work on a large, highly detailed oyster hatchery and research facility at the University of Southern Mississippi. Candidates should be skilled in conduit installation, conduit bending, wiring, troubleshooting, and working with control systems. Ideal candidates are well-rounded journeyman electricians with strong conduit bending, schematic reading, and electrical troubleshooting experience, capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

ASAP SCOPE OF WORK
- Assist with complex commercial electrical installation at a highly detailed oyster hatchery and research facility
- Install and wire conduit, including PVC and EMT; perform conduit bending and layout
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and control diagrams
- Install and troubleshoot relays, switches, controllers, sensors, and associated equipment
- Terminate conductors in panels, junction boxes, disconnects, and control panels
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 8 years of experience required
- Must complete ladder and fall protection safety (CCS will provide)
- Proficiency in conduit bending from 3/4″ to 1 1/4″
- Ability to pull wire, trim receptacles and switches, and interpret electrical schematics
- Strong understanding of electrical theory, power systems, motor controls, and troubleshooting
- Experience with instrumentation, sensors, PLC wiring, and process controls is a major plus
- Candidate should be detail-oriented with a focus on craftsmanship and safety
- Ability to work independently and solve field problems
