Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, supporting both industrial and commercial electrical projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, construction site experience, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on various electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks across diverse environments. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters and ammeters. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a solid electrical background to contribute to high-quality projects in a dynamic setting. Duties Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial and commercial settings according to NEC standards. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate wiring and system configurations. Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other testing devices to diagnose electrical issues. Perform wiring of low voltage and high voltage systems safely and efficiently. Conduct troubleshooting of electrical faults on construction sites or existing facilities. Assist with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations when necessary. Follow all safety protocols related to construction and electrical work, including proper handling of power tools and high voltage systems. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while maintaining quality standards. Requirements Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial environments. Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety regulations for low voltage and high voltage systems. Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, ammeters, and other electrical testing equipment. Construction site experience is highly preferred. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces as required by project specifications. Knowledge of framing carpentry is a plus for certain installation tasks. Valid credentials or certifications relevant to electrical work are preferred but not mandatory. This position requires a dedicated professional capable of handling complex electrical systems while adhering to safety standards and project deadlines.
