Job Description
- Ability to work safely around high and low voltage electrical circuits.
- Experience in the electrical field is preferred.
- The applicant must be able to work alone and be a self-starter.
- Industrial background with knowledge in three phase power, medium voltage, MCC installation and repair and conduit bending, and installation preferred.
- Ability to interpret electrical prints and schematics helpful.
- Any special licenses, certifications, and schooling, along with maintenance cross-training and any overtime shifts worked in maintenance will also be considered.
- Safety record, attendance and work performance will be considered prior to the interview process.
- Support for complex instrument and electrical repairs and retrofits.
- Maintenance of electrical equipment throughout the mine and the mill.
- Assure compliance with MSHA and NEC regulations regarding electrical supply, distribution and installation.
- Other duties as assigned.
