Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Commercial/Industrial Electrician with travel flexibility to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse electrical projects across multiple locations, ensuring the installation, maintenance, and repair of complex electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive electrical experience, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently. TRAVEL REQUIREMENT
Most of our jobs are out of town. You must be willing and able to travel and spend at least 4 nights away from home each week. Our jobs can be located throughout North Carolina and South Carolina, depending on customer needs. Crews meet at our Castle Hayne office/warehouse Monday mornings, travel together to the job site, and typically return Friday afternoon. Transportation, motel accommodations, and per diem for food are provided for qualifying out-of-town work. Responsibilities- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial/industrial electrical systems
- Read blueprints, electrical plans, and technical diagrams
- Install wiring, lighting, controls, breakers, and other electrical equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs
- Use electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools
- Follow electrical codes and company safety procedures
- Complete work orders and document work performed and materials used
- Work professionally with electricians, contractors, customers, and other team members Requirements
- 3-5 years of commercial and/or industrial electrical experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical drawings
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Must have some required electrician hand tools
- Dependable and able to work independently and with a team
- Must be willing to travel and stay out of town at least 4 nights per week Benefits
