) The career opportunity for you: Recore Electrical Contractors is currently in search of Electrical Service Technicians to join our team. Technicians will be spending their days servicing, repairing, and installing electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments. Recore is looking for Technicians that can use their technical expertise and individual judgement to resolve customer electrical issues in highly professional and safe manner. Job Responsibilities Install, connect, test, and maintain electrical systems for a variety of purposes, including lighting, climate control, and various power distribution systems. Work with blueprints when installing electrical systems in industrial and commercial facilities. Able to indicate on blueprints the location of circuits, outlets, load centers, panel boards, and other equipment. Install new electrical equipment. Installing and Bending of EMT and Rigid conduit. Maintain and repair electrical systems as quickly as possible in order to minimize inconvenience. Able to replace items such as circuit breakers, fuses, switches, electrical and electronic components, or wire. Perform the installation of various electrical systems per NEC state/local regulations and complete construction documents while maintaining the highest levels of OSHA compliance. Review specifications, blueprints, and job scope for technical accuracy. Perform electrical testing and monitoring of systems and makes recommendation for improvement/repair. Maintains good housekeeping, which may include, sweeping work area with a broom, organizing tools and materials, and keeping surfaces clean. Job Requirements 2 years of electrical industrial and/or commercial service experience. Perform troubleshooting on both analog and digital circuitry. High degree of skill at analyzing problems and developing solutions. Safely work on electrical and electronic systems up to 480v. Operate most electronic test equipment. Read and analyze schematics. Skilled in hand and power tools. Basic knowledge in computer systems, Microsoft programs and interfaces. Perform in office and manufacturing environments. Ability to take direction and work independently. Ability to work at heights and lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to walk, climb, lift, squat, crawl, and reach overhead to complete certain task. For the
