Job Description

LARGE MANUFACTURING PLANT IN CONCORD NC IS LOOKING FOR A 2ND SHIFT ELECTRICAL MECHANICAL TECHNICIAN. LOOKING FOR SOMEONE SHARP WITH ELECTRICAL

MOTORS, PLCS, VFDS, ETC. SHIFT

PM Pay Rate:
$35.50- $37.50 HOURLY +$0.50 SHIFT
DIFFERENTIAL
Key Responsibilities Perform electrical wiring, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial equipment using control schematics, ladder diagrams, and point-to-point wiring to minimize downtime. Modify and enhance control circuits to support continuous improvement initiatives. Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to restore equipment functionality. Provide technical support to operations to maximize production efficiency and yield. Conduct root cause analysis on recurring equipment failures and implement corrective actions. Train and support machine operators to ensure quality standards and production targets are met. Maintain accurate maintenance records and assist in developing process verification procedures. Manage MRO spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components. Execute and document preventive maintenance (PM) and equipment calibration activities. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Process teams to resolve issues and drive cost improvements. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding issues impacting production, quality, and safety. Utilize electrical testing and diagnostic tools such as volt-ohm meters (VOM), oscilloscopes, and programming devices. Work with a wide range of equipment including PLCs, sensors, distributed control systems, analog/digital I/O, motor controls, drives (DC/stepper), and motion control systems. Ensure compliance with quality standards by identifying and eliminating product non-conformances. Perform additional duties as assigned to support maintenance and production operations. #IND1
