Job Description

Overview The Whiskey Project Group, USA is seeking for its Edenton, NC location. The Marine Electrician is responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on military, commercial and recreational marine vessels.
Responsibilities:
  • Considerable knowledge of marine electrical systems and required maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of ABYC and USCG standards
  • Considerable knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices involved in the installation, maintenance, repair and upgrade to marine electrical and electro-mechanical systems.
  • Installation of electrical components, wiring, fixtures, and equipment for AC & DC electrical systems
  • Installation of Marine Electronics, Motors, Pumps, HVAC and switches.
  • Skill in the detection, diagnoses, maintenance and repair of marine electrical systems.
  • Ability to communicate orally and in writing complex marine electrical systems problems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and issues.
  • Wire communication systems, completing circuitry and testing systems using, voltmeters and other electrical testing equipment
  • Ensure compliance with
ABYC & USCG
electrical safety regulations and standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine electrical system layout. Experience in tracing electrical circuits and systems
  • Use hand and power tools to install and repair electrical systems
  • Collaborate with other members to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vessel
Qualifications:
  • Vocational technical school degree/certification, Boatbuilding, Military Trade or High School Diploma or General Equivalency Degree (GED).
  • ABYC Certification Preferred.
  • Experience working with marine electrical systems
  • Familiarity with relevant safety protocols and regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
