Job Description

Pitt Electric, a premier service provider in the Greenville area is seeking a Residential Electrical Service Technician with at least 2 years of hands-on experience. This role is ideal for someone who is confident working directly with homeowners, diagnosing issues on-site, and delivering high quality repairs and installation with professionalism and care. Responsibilities Perform electrical service calls, including troubleshooting, repairs, and system upgrades Install and maintain wiring, outlets, lighting, panels, breakers, and other electrical components Diagnose electrical issues quickly and accurately, providing clear explanations and repair options to homeowners Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in customer homes and company vehicles Complete service documentation, estimates, and job notes accurately Provide exceptional customer service and represent the company with professionalism Participate in on‑call rotation as needed Qualifications Minimum 3 years of residential electrical experience Working knowledge of NEC standards and local electrical codes Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Excellent communication and customer‑service skills Ability to work independently and manage time effectively High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship preferred Electrical journeyman card preferred Must be able to pass drug test and background check Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in attics, crawl spaces, and other residential environments Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods
