Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Electrician to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various settings, including commercial, industrial, and construction sites. Your expertise will ensure that electrical infrastructure operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from renovation to new construction, utilizing your technical skills to deliver high-quality results that keep our operations running smoothly. Duties Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute installations and repairs. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform electrical work on construction sites or renovation projects. Test electrical systems using devices such as ohmmeters and multimeters to diagnose issues accurately. Work with low voltage and high voltage systems while adhering to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance. Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation processes in industrial settings. Collaborate with construction teams on framing carpentry, schematics interpretation, and other related tasks to ensure seamless project execution. Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure safety standards are met; perform maintenance as needed. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspections, repairs, and installations for compliance purposes. Assist with renovation projects by updating existing wiring or installing new electrical components in commercial or industrial environments. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of electrical systems. Hands-on experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical work. Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical diagrams is essential. Knowledge of NEC regulations governing low voltage and high voltage electrical systems. Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) in automation environments is highly desirable. Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers, along with power tools used in electrical installations. Ability to use testing equipment like ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical issues accurately.
