Job Description

ROLE OVERVIEW
Own the technical management of electrical systems across our PV manufacturing facility — from inverters and power distribution to energy storage and PLC control — ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient power operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage and maintain facility electrical systems, including power distribution, inverters, energy storage, and PLC-based controls Lead troubleshooting and root-cause resolution of electrical faults across production and utility systems Plan and execute technical upgrades and preventive maintenance programs Read and interpret electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and CAD drawings Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes and facility safety standards Coordinate with production and facilities teams to minimize downtime
QUALIFICATIONS
Associate's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field 3+ years of experience in industrial facility electrical systems (manufacturing, semiconductor, or solar preferred) Working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and intelligent building/facility controls Strong fault diagnosis, data analysis, and technical documentation skills High-Voltage Electrician certification a plus
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the production floor for extended periods (up to full shift) Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs occasionally Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and around energized electrical equipment with proper PPE Ability to climb ladders, use lifts, and access elevated or below-grade equipment Manual dexterity for tool use, wiring, and equipment testing Ability to wear required PPE (arc-flash gear, safety glasses, hearing protection) for extended periods This job description reflects the general nature and level of work performed and is not a comprehensive inventory of all duties and qualifications.
