$20.00 - $23.00 per hourSchedule:
1st Shift | 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Overtime as Needed) Position Overview Seeking a skilled Electrical Mechanic to install, assemble, wire, troubleshoot, and test electrical systems on large custom air handling units in its High Point manufacturing facility. This position supports the production of industrial HVAC equipment and requires strong electrical assembly skills, blueprint reading ability, and a commitment to quality and safety. Key Responsibilities- Assemble, install, and wire electrical components on industrial HVAC equipment.
- Install EMT conduit, junction boxes, electrical panels, controls, fire alarm, and low-voltage wiring.
- Read blueprints, shop drawings, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Pull, terminate, label, and test electrical wiring.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and verify system operation.
- Use electrical hand tools and testing equipment safely.
- Follow NEC requirements and company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Work with production teams to meet manufacturing schedules. Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of industrial electrical or electrical assembly experience preferred.
- Experience installing EMT conduit.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of NEC standards.
- Fire alarm and low-voltage wiring experience preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Physical Requirements
- Lift up to 50 pounds.
- Stand, bend, kneel, climb, and work throughout the shift.
- Work in varying temperatures and high-noise manufacturing environments. Benefits
